Long before I knew this would become my career, I was the kid wandering through open houses, studying floor plans, noticing the way light moved through a room, and wondering why some spaces felt magical while others didn't. That curiosity eventually led me to study Product Design, where I fell in love with the relationship between form, function, craftsmanship, and the tiny details most people never notice—but always feel.
More than 15 years later, that curiosity still guides every project. My design style isn't confined to one aesthetic because my clients aren't, either. Instead, I look for the thread that ties everything together—the architecture, the history of the home, the pieces you already love, and the life you're growing into. Working with Chiya Design is collaborative, thoughtful, and actually fun. Design should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
